The hotel is a boutique hotel, managed by Ascott group, not a lot of rooms around but the size of the rooms are very comfortable for 2. Not too squeezy and air-con is ok as Singapore weather can be very warm at times. Lots of food around, whether its local and cafe or restaurant, its very near to one of the popular Tiong Bahru Market a market which the locals like to visit. Its a chillax staycation for me.

This hotel needs to get more reviews and stays to get out from the mediocre rating! :)

My second stay with you guys this year (because of covid too). This time round with their Executive Room which also comes with a tub, previously with Premiere Room that comes with a larger round tub.

I got to say, Executive Room is the perfect me-time room especially during these time when people are desperate for a getaway from their daily routine. The room which comes with similar size of premiere, comes with a deep soaking tub which was different than Premiere that comes with a round tub (perfect for couple). I had no complains this time too and everything was perfect. Kudos to Bryan for his superb hospitality.

I'd recommend people to come here, get our from their daily routine. Lots of yummy food nearby too! To name a few, Cafe Pandan (hotel breakfast from here too), Kampung Chicken place, Voyage Patisserie. Tiong Bahru food centre is also walking distance from here.

Keep up the good work D Hotel (or Wangz) - although the phone in the room was a little dusty. :)

First the good parts : location is nice close to tiong bahru area. Lots of nice places to go to in the neighborhood.
There is a nespresso machine during complimentary breakfast with one choice btw.
What is mediocre but not disastrous : rooms look nice on pictures but not great, flooring is weird and not comfortable. Shower is large but water pressure low and very uneven. Staff is friendly but not adequate.
What is really bad : the very meagre breakfast has the crappiest soggy croissants I ever squeezed with the tools available.
DISASTER: DURING PIPING MAINTENANCE WORK WATER FROM FAUCETS WAS BROWN! NO WARNING!!! WE DRANK TEA.
ONLY AFTER FILLING UP BATH WE DISCOVERED THAT IT WAS BROWN.
ABSOLUTELY NO ADEQUATE RESPONSE NOR COMPENSATION FROM THE HOTEL.
HEALTH HAZARD HOTEL. IMO TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL TIMES

Greetings. We deeply regret to learn about your unpleasant stay experience at our boutique hotel and we are truly sorry for the disappointment and discomfort caused to you. We humbly admit it was an oversight on our part in not sending an advisory memo to our guests to inform them of the maintenance works being carried out on the water pipes in our property and we could have handled the situation better when you shared your inopportune experience with us. Kindly allow us to assure you our management is very concerned because it is always our sincere hope our guests enjoy their stays with us, and we have since reviewed our practices and processes for improvements as we sincerely wish to avert such incidents from recurring.

We would like to thank you for your candid feedback on the Continental Breakfast selection and its quality, and we sincerely apologise for the disappointment caused to you. We are happy to share there is a new food and beverage service provider at our hotel and they commenced their operations on 01st April 2020. With your valuable feedback, we assure you our management shall be working closely with our new service provider on the food selection and quality so we may cater a better Continental Breakfast selection for our guests.

While we wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like yours that helps us to improve and differentiate good service from bad. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case we fell short. Previously known as Wangz Hotel (one of the best luxury boutique hotel in Singapore) has recently changed to Ascott Management and classified under Citadines which is weird.

I've been wanting to try Wangz in the past. Booked the Premier Room that comes with a big tub. Gotta say, it's truly one of the nicer designed rooms I've stay. It's truly boutique - one of a kind rooms. Some guest might give in as "old" but given really how old the hotel is, it is still well maintained. Expect quality beddings, maximum comfortability in room. One that I didn't expect from "Citadines"' were the hospitality, superb team!

Some parts of the hotel can be still improve - example the small little details in furniture which can be replace with a new model. One of the smoke detector in my room also seems faulty (Room 204). TV channels can be improve given that it's under Citadines and long stays will be foresee for some guests. I'd definitely come back again for more staycays with you guys after this period. :-)

We are delighted you had an overall enjoyable and comfortable stay with us at our centrally located boutique hotel. All of us are thrilled to learn you liked the décor and ambiance of our Premier room and that you have found our room to be one of the nicer designed rooms you have stayed in.

We are truly appreciative of your valuable feedback regarding the current selection of TV programmes available and we would to assure you our management shall be changing the current cable-TV package to be aligned with the package with 45 channels which is available at our sister properties, when this present contract ends. We sincerely apologise for any disappointment caused to you and seek your kind understanding over this matter.

Thank you for bringing the faulty smoke-detector to our attention and we are sorry for our service lapse during the pre-arrival inspection checks. Please allow us to assure you our Housekeeping management has since reminded the team of the importance of being thorough when carrying out their responsibilities and we have also emphasized the importance of checking the smoke detector and other electrical appliances. Unfortunately, from our investigation it has been found a previous guest tampered with this smoke detector as remnants of tissue was found inside the detector casing.

Despite the slight detractions in your stay, we are truly grateful to learn you shall be returning to stay with us again and we sincerely thank you for your loyalty and trust in our service. If there is anything we may assist with your future stays, we invite you to let us know as we would be most glad to be of assistance to you.It has truly been our great pleasure and privilege to have been of service to you and all of us earnestly look forward to welcoming you back in the near future. Beautiful boutique hotel with great service and location. We had a lovely room with large windows and spectacular views—even from the bathroom. Very seek and modern. The breakfast buffet was served in a beautiful rooftop restaurant and offered a great variety—from fried rice, shrimp, and stuffed dumplings to bacon, sausage, pastries, croissants, fruits, cheeses, cereals, eggs and more. A variety of juices and coffee or cappuccino were also available.
