If you like shopping this is the place for you, anything you are looking for they have it lol Crazy place tons and tons of things. Personally I found Chinatown was better for souvenirs a bit cheaper. You can ask for discount sometimes works.Enjoy and dont get overwhelmed.Recomended it.

We stopped at the Burgos food street just to check it out and find a small bite before dinner. The green mango salad was as good at it is anywhere in Thailand. There were many food vendors. It all looked good. Well priced and fast. It was a surprisingly good meal. But we weren't hungry for dinner afterwards.

Bugis Street is a very full packed shopping street. three watches for just 10 or while you wait deep frozen deserts - many things you can find there. Easy to reach by MRT. Hawkers and several temples are close by.

We had a fabulous time strolling along Bugis Street. We get to see variety of food, locals as well as many cultural souvenirs. It can get crowded but definitely a place you do not need a guide as the vendors are friendly and can answer most questions.
