The store located at lvl 2 near the escalator has a very bad customer service where if did not ask for any service, the receptionist will keep trying to recommend things then when you didn't buy anything she will guilt trip and ridicule you.

Bugis street is where you have a lot of updated street clothing, a lot of local delicacies, a lot of desserts to have. Usually the place is full with tourists but is a fun place to hang out

If you are looking for window shopping in Singapore, this is a place to be at. When you explore places in Singapore, you get amused at the varieties of options that Singapore has for you, when it comes to shopping. You find the costliest and classiest shops at orchard road in Singapore and just the next street in Bugis street, you will find the pirated version of original being sold at one tenth of original price, haha!

Even if you are not into pirated or cheap stuffs, do make sure you visit bugis street for the ambience and vibes it offers. I ended buying all my sovenirs from this spot.

We had a fantastic couple of hours at Bugis street market, there are hundreds of stall selling everything you can imagine. Make sure you eat at one of the local food outlets, there are lots to choose from and they all look amazing. Its where all the local people eat so you know the food is good.
