There for three days. Frankly I was disappointed. Great location but in dire need of upgrading. Room OK but nothing to write home about. We were promised water in our room but there was none available for a drink after a long and tedious 17 hour day getting there. Reason given “we have gone green so do not provide water in plastic containers.” There was an empty mini bar to be used as a fridge and an empty glass water jug on the dressing table??? Only ate there for breakfast. There was ample choice but of average quality. The fried eggs were something to behold. Nothing was freshly cooked and the eggs were piled high under a lid. Some were cooked to death whilst others were half runny/half hard and most were in pieces where others had tried to extricate from the pile. The other 'hot' food was not hot and often cold. No hot plates available. The pastries were overcooked and tough. Moved on to the Ramada Plaza in Melaka which sets the standard I had expected in Singapore.

Great stay. All staff exceptionally helpful and courteous. Wonderful
location. Very near lots of sights. Clean and quiet room. Breakfast fine. Concierge very helpful and Bellboys great.
Nice pool on 1st floor.

The title says it all, we enjoyed breakfast with a great mix of local and continental food - that was worth paying for as we were also up early with jet lag.
The reception is stylish and nice to be in, albeit small. There is a courtyard but it’s not inuse by the hotel so looks rundown.... which is a shame as we have a toddler who could have used a run around.
The room was a good size, it was deluxe and fitted the baby bed well. However the carpet was old and could have been cleaned better, especially noticeable as I spent a lot of time in the room and on the floor with the kid.

We upgraded on arrival for the late checkout/hop on bus/bigger room/breakfast package for $50 per night and can recommend that. The bus was good and air conditioned.

The pool was great and the jacuzzi was hot! Hurray!!

Down side was no kid play area. Otherwise good. Only 30 mins walk to the marina sands area.
