Average Hotel in a good Location

Review of Rendezvous Hotel Singapore by Far East Hospitality

The hotel whilst in a good location is pretty average. I stayed for two nights and had arrived quite early.

Early check in was not available however I was provided access to the showers in the gym to freshen up which was nice.

When it was time to check in I was told that I had been upgraded to a junior suite which was also nice.

The room however was quite average, in need of an upgrade but clean.

The second day I came back from being out and my card didn't work in the lift. I was told at the front desk I was only staying for one night which was not correct.

After 15 mins and having to prove my booking from my paperwork the issue was sorted, however it should not have occured in the first place. When I checked in the person at the desk knew I was in for two nights. How does this just change?

When i got back to my room it has not been cleaned and I had to request towels, this was because housekeeping were told I was in for one night.

The breakfast offered is average and if not included , don't waste your money.

Given my experience at the front desk regarding my length of stay, I wont be back.

Disappointing

The club room was very average not a lot of wine choice with no Chardonnay and the food choice was so basic and not very nice the worse club lounge experience I have had also breakfast wasn’t that great either all the hot food was Luke warm. The hotel is very tired the bed was comfortable with a large bathroom and a nice pool and friendly staff but had difficulty finding someone to order a drink at the bar downstairs. I have previously stayed at the other Rendezvous hotel and it was so much nicer such a shame glad I was there for only 1 night.

Holiday accommodation

Stopped here for few days on way back home. Centrally situated for most things Including public transport. Staff were great .

5 Star Staff + Customer Service but 3 Star for efficiency (management should look into hiring enough staff to work)

Attended by a very nice lady Malou. Great service despite her duties. I see her handling kitchen, front desk and serving the guests. Is the hotel severely understaff? Mgmt should review. Anyhow, Malou is a great asset to the hotel! Thank you Malou!

Excellent hospitality

This is a very accommodating hotel. We arrived there around 7 in the morning and did not expect to check in then, but Mark at the front desk and his boss were kind enough to let us check in. How flexible they were! It made a whole different story. We were
able to rest in the room before exploring the country. Also, all the people at the front desk were always so kind. The room was good as well, but what made our stay comfortable were the hotel staff. Thanks a lot.

Great location and value-for-money!

Booked a weekend staycation for a long needed break. Ms Logeswary noticed upon checkin that it was my birthday and upgraded me to the junior suite! Really appreciated her thoughtfulness and unexpected surprise! While the corridor definitely needed new carpeting, wifi needed better reception in my suite corner and shower gel container was empty when I got the room, my stay was pleasant and comfortable otherwise. Room was meticulously cleaned daily and staff were friendly, pleasant and ready to help in every way. The hotel was easy access to 4 MRT lines, has a bus stop right outside and was a short walk to all the major sights in the Civic district, even walkable to Little India/Lavender area. Pretty unbeatable location for visitors interested in Singapore art and history and great value-for-money!
