* I booked two double bed rooms and was allocated two adjoining rooms, one room with a double bed and the other with two single beds. This was very disappointing considering it was clear that there were multiple rooms unoccupied. I was not travelling with someone where adjoining rooms were appropriate and impacted the privacy of each person making the stay uncomfortable and awkward.
* The pillows on my bed were hard and far too high, when I asked for a softer set of replacement pillows was told they have no soft ones left. With a pre-existing neck condition I spent my entire stay WITH VERY SORE, STIFF NECK. I eventually went to the lobby and took two small sofa cushions from the library lounge to sleep with. Reception staff and porter watched me take these but made no attempt to assist me.
* Breakfast was always running out of food, crockery and glasses, service closing at 11 am there were multiple items depleted by 9am, not replenished unless I asked for it! Coffee machines were always empty and had to locate a staff member to refill. There were no juice glasses left and when I asked for one was told to use a coffee mug!
* On one occasion, the pool was closed 20 minutes early, including all lights being turned off while I was still swimming!
* There are two nightclubs on the top floor of the building which I was not aware of at time of booking, At 3am went down the the foyer and was so shocked I videoed 30 + young people, clearly intoxicated, loitering around the hotel entrance and foyer. Falling over and smoking in undesignated areas. No action was taken to manage this behaviour.
