This is my third or fourth stay at this hotel (previous stays were years ago when it was still The Westin Stamford). The service standard has slipped considerably unfortunately.
We stayed for three nights at their newly refurbished signature room. The room is very spacious with a 65-inch TV. It also comes with a Nespresso machine which we appreciate very much.
The room however was not very clean and even though it was a refurbished room, the sofa set, coffee table and carpet were very worn out. There were obvious strands of hair on the floor when we checked into the room. For the subsequent nights the housekeeper didn’t even clean the floor. Every time we took a shower in the bath tub, the water took a very long time to drain. I gave the feedback to the front desk (calls to their guest services were unanswered so I had to go and talk to someone instead) but the problem was there even on our second day and the third.
There was a good selection for breakfast and the staff members did try their best to provide the best service they could. However I don’t think I will return to stay there the next time. More
