We arrived at the entrance of Raffles and the luggage disappeared. A very elegantly dressed Indian gentleman escorted us inside and seated us in armchairs, with a Singapore Sling each. Took a passport and credit card and all the formalities were taken care of while we sipped our drinks. Then we were escorted to our Palm Court Suite which was extremely spacious and elegant. Entrance vestibule with two tables and a sofa with views over the courtyard. Beyond a bedroom area with an office desk too. Further on a whole bathroom area split into three separate sections. Very opulent. After our first night came down to breakfast where you have BOTH a la carte and a buffet with so much choice you had better abandon lunch. Anything they could do better? Not much!

Room Tip: Palm Court suite is lovely

The architecture of this building is just stunning. It's so beautiful both inside and out. A good romantic place for couples. If you're not staying here, I would definitely recommend visiting to get a drink. Make sure to have the iconic Singapore Sling. The drink isn't anything fancy (mixed drink) but it's part of the culture so it's worth trying.

My hands down favourite hotel in Singapore. A sheer delight. Feel like you're stepping back in time, enjoy a relaxing cocktail at the Long Bar, or high tea in the Tiffin Room. Relax by the swimming pool with its lush tropical gardens. By the end of your stay you'll feel so refreshed, relaxed and ready to write a novel.

Room Tip: The upper floor is quieter

Beautiful old hotel in a great location. Very comfortable. Excellent service. The famous Singapore sling is a must! We had high tea, which was fabulous! Very peaceful place but for the bus loads of tourists who come to see this famous hotel and have a Singapore sling. But the guests have their own entrance and private area.
