We stayed in the hotel for two weeks in a club room on the club floor.
The room was very good comfortable clean and answered our expectations, .
During all the duration of our stay we were treated superbly by all the club team which made our stay very relaxing and pleasant especially Swathi which have made all efforts to make my wife very comfortable and surprised her with a small Birthday celebration.
We are staying at the Amara Singapore (which is situated in a good location close to china town and walking distance from the MRT station )almost every year for a many years and always enjoy our stay.
We recommend the hotel to all our friends

I have often used this hotel and used to live in Tanjong Pagar. It still represents outstanding value for money and has a great 25m pool. I love the location but have to say that newer hotels around it offer better comfort as the Amara is getting really tired and needs a facelift.

The company i worked for order a rom in this hotel for me, sine i have an late flight from Changi AirPort. I had dinner buffet including, but the staff tried to fraud me with a big bill for the dinner afterwards. I get extremly disappointed, never more that hotel in singapore!

The hotel is near to Chinatown. Many choices of restaurants, especially if you are a Korean food lover. Also walking distance to MRT Station Tanjong Pagar. The staffs at Amara also very friendly to us.

We like the location, nice and quite, surrounded by the bar and restaurant, walk-able distance to Clark Quay.

We notice that the hotel had been freshen up from previously old look. The room is nice but not the bathroom. The toilet is low and the water pressure is very weak. The late reception staff could be nicer.
