We stayed at 30 Bencoolen for one night on a stop over. They allowed us to check in very early without extra charges and were extremely hospitable, making extra allowances for our young son. They also provided us with a free phone for use within Singapore for making phone calls and using data, maps etc. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming as well as being knowledgeable about the various areas of Singapore and where to visit!

I have to say, if you're trying to look this place up on on Google Streetview, don't worry.
They're slow on the update
Bencoolen street is all up and a beautiful sight
Now about the hotel. Staff well done. From the word GO, the check in was fantastic. They saw I was tired and had kids with me and the team stepped up.
Quite bluntly, from all my stays in Singapore, I now have a new bench mark (outside a five star set up)
The room itself. Clean, neat and surprisingly for Singapore a good size. I didn't feeled hemmed in by unnecessary furniture.
I had two kids with me and it was a sane experience
Whoever came up with the design, kudos
Parents, there's two kids Channels.
Locationwise, I think this the best place for tourists, especially first time tourist to Singapore. The reason why it's simple. Food, sights and public transport.
The hotel's nearest train station is a literal stones throw away.
Ten minutes walk and you're at Bugis, a food for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike.
There's an Arts university on Bencoolen itself and there's a lot of different historical buildings nearby
If you're aiming to go to Orchard road, head to Bugis and a few stops and you're there.
There's a nice pool (adults) with a Jacuzzi. So it's not a bad setting for a romantic inner city getaway or if you're on your honeymoon.

Beautifully renovated hotel and well located close to Orchard Road & Little India.
The staff were very friendly and rooms were very fresh looking after the renovation.
As previous reviews, water pressure was lower than standard hotels but not so low as I was expecting after reading the reviews.

The room is very simple, in terms of design. But it gives off a chic yet comfortable feel for us. Location wise is great as it is near a few MRT Lines. There is a 7-11 nearby if you dont want to walk far.

I stayed for two nights. This is a decent hotel. The staff are friendly, the room is OK and big enough for us to stay. The free Wifi is great.
No toothbrush in the bathroom toiletries although, no problem for us we can buy them at the 7Eleven outside. But the water pressure is too weak, and the water heater is not functioning properly. After we checking out yesterday, they say that they will perform some maintenance on the water heater.
They have a compact swimming pool and jacuzzi on the 15th floor. When we stayed there the guest laundry is on maintenance up until mid of December, so cannot review the laundry guest. The gym is OK with a brand new machine.
The best thing of this hotel is the location. Just a couple minute walk to the right is the new MRT station, while to the left is a big 7Eleven store and food republic just around the corner. Near the bugis district and orchard road.
