We chose this hotel for its central and convenient location. Brilliant! Comfortable walking distance to Raffles and Bugis St. Bras Basah & Bencoolen stations less than a minutes walk, great food court (Food Republic) and excellent dumpling restaurant (Tin dai Fung) next door. As well as a 7 eleven, Starbucks and a money changer just meters away. However, it was the staff at the hotel which made our trip perfect. Thank you to all the staff we encountered during our 5 night stay. The service was faultless right from checking in to checking out. Every staff member we encountered from; front of house, cleaners, doorman, cafe staff etc. were super polite, respectful, professional and knowledgeable. I have not written a review for quite sometime due to overall very average experiences (mid to high range establishments), and quite honestly, did not expect too much prior to our stay. So a huge thank you once again to all the staff at 30 Bencoolen for making our stay a most memorable one. My girls (age 11 & 13) and I totally recommend this hotel for all travellers.

Great location very close to Bencoolen MRT station, clean quiet room, comfy beds and pillows, free use of “handy” smartphone for free internet and international calls, friendly helpful staff, fast free wifi. I would definitely stay here again, and very affordable.

Everything was ok.
Except one thing, i checked in around 10pm, once i stepped out of the elevator, the hallway to the room was too dark. Then i went outside and went back to the hotel at 3am. The light in the hallway to the room was completly turned off. All of them. You cannot see anything. I have to use the flashlight from my phone to help me see. What if your guests dont have a built in flashlight in their phone? Do you expect your guests to carry a flashlight everywhere? Dont be so cheap please. Thanks
