A friend made a reservation for me with the reputation that it was a reasonable and very good hotel.

Room has one queen size bed.

The ceiling is diagonal and remains in the form of a roof. It is a room that feels like an attic room.
The bed was large, but the washstand and shower room structure was just beside the bed.

Cleaning is thorough and clean.
A small but clean hotel that is fun for children.

Insecticide or wax has a strong smell in the room and it is stuffy,

It is a simple room, ideal for traveling a couple of young people.

I did not feel much problem as I originally thought it would be good if I could stay, but I might not feel so relaxed as a cozy room.
Hotel staff is really kind
There is an atmosphere that especially cherishes young travelers.

Booked a single guest room for a night, the room is really small (around 15m2) is which gives a slight claustrophobic feeling. The positioning of the air conditioning is weirdly placed above a shelve, aside from that facilities and breakfast are exceptional

We booked 3 nights at this hotel and full payment for our reservation had been successfully received by the accommodation weeks prior to our arrival. While already travelling in South Asia, we received emails, seemingly from the accommodation but potentially from defrauders, pretending that our card had been declined and requesting to share by email the details of a different card to process a new payment. Booking.com later alerted us via email that the accommodation had exposed our reservation data (including payment card details, full name, address etc.) to an unauthorized third party and that, as a result of this, we may receive suspicious emails. We proceeded to block our card to avoid a potential financial fraud, with all the material problems and distress this caused whilst travelling abroad.
Once at the property, the hotel management consistently refused to speak with us on this matter. They denied that a data breach had ever occurred, in spite of Booking.com email informing us of that, and in spite of the suspicious emails we received, that the hotel then claimed to have send themselves by mistake, in a pathetic attempt at covering the fact that GDPR regulation had been violated.
Not only the hotel never offered satisfactory explanation, apology or compensation, but Booking.com failed in conducting a thorough investigation and in supporting us to get to the bottom of this and achieve resolution.
We booked through Booking.com because we trusted them to keep our confidential data safe and travel in trustworthy accommodations. Q Loft Hotel 1929 proved to be at the very least incompetent and unprofessional, if not patently dishonest.
We believe this happened to other customers and hope they will also come forward to warn other people against this hotel. We are also profoundly disappointed in Booking.com for the way they managed the situation, as the protection and safety of our data has not been taken seriously.

I didn’t expect luxury when I booked this hotel, but from the description I did think it would be adequate to our needs and have character.
It was awful. We were too early to check into our room so we’re told to just leave our cases by the desk. No ticket, so anyone could have walked in off the street and taken them.
I had read that the rooms were small but that is an understatement ! The sink was right up against the bed, you could hardly turn round in the toilet/shower. Two coat hangers hung on the back of door to serve as a wardrobe ! The bed was against the wall and no space at the end. It was badly shabbily decorated.
We didn’t bother unpacking and although we had paid already we left and found
another hotel !
Suitable for backpackers only !

Room tip: Ask for a family room even if there’s only 1 or 2 of you !

I chose this hotel because the Naumi Liora has gone out of existence, it is the same general location, and the price was reasonable. We were staying a couple of nights to acclimatize before going scuba diving for 3 weeks. The hotel is clean and the staff is quite helpful. Rooms are pretty small - our dive luggage plus other luggage left not much room to get around, and the hotel does not have a storage facility for extra luggage. The beds were comfortable and amenities were more than adequate. The location is great - in Chinatown and very close to public transportation, but we were pretty jet lagged and mostly rested. The restaurant (breakfast included in the stay) was good, if a bit limited, and service was excellent. In general, the hotel is a pretty good bargain, especially if you're just passing through.

Room tip: Ask for a larger room if you have lots of baggage.
