Enjoyed the day out at the reserve - is a 360 experience of sights and sounds as you are surrounded by the rich and diverse flora and fauna of the tropical wetlands. Caught a couple of rarely seen birds and it was awesome! With insect repellant and long pants/ light colored clothing, mozzies was never an issue. However, giant monitor lizards walking alongside the path/walkway was quite an experience (scary one as well)! But they are actually quite tame.

If you do not have time to cover the whole route, go for Route 3. IMO, it is the easiest and best route to take!

In this concrete jungle, you tend to appreciate every bit of greens. Especially when most Singaporeans aren't that adventurous to venture into the amazon, this is the closest we could get to it and away from the painful office politics.

Not quite accessible by public transport but worth the effort to get close to nature.

We had a brilliant day here. Lots of monitor lizards roaming around. Only drawback is getting a cab proved challenging. But we managed.

Amazing nice park in North of Singapore where the humongous monitor lizards just cross your path.
There are some sandy walking paths and there is a wooden elevated path through the magroves. Definitely worth visiting.
When you are there, do the Kranji farm tour as well
