This boutique hotel is lovely and is conveniently located in Little India but....the music from the neighbouring ‘gentleman’s club’, and I use that term quite loosely, is blasted until 4am! Not cool at all. They were able to move me to another room in the back of the hotel, but it didn’t help at all, so if you want a peaceful sleep...don’t stay here!

Initially, I recommend highly Daulat Hotel! My first stay at Daulat Hotel resulted by Agodas 'Secret Deal'. It is close located to subway station 'Rochor' (Blue Downtown Line) and 'Little India' (Downtown Line and North East Line). It makes your stay and discovering journey much easier and more convenient. I had a Deluxe room which was clean and well furnished with all promised equipment’s (comfortable large bed, TV, DVD player, flatiron as well as free coffee, tea and water). Furthermore, as guest you enjoyed several ‘Guest´s Privileges’ as mentioned: complimentary WIFI, American Breakfast, Bottle Water, Soft Drinks, Swimming pool with underwater sound system, free bicycle rental and 24 hours reception service. All features make you ‘feel home’ and welcomed. Especially, the free soft drinks and free water bottles are very convenient during a hot day. Moreover, the breakfast is OK but could be improved. Every morning you can choose between Asian and Western Special Menu or toast, cereal and fruits at Madras Hotel (sister hotel next to Daulat Hotel). Unfortunately, the kitchen crew always needed a call to clean the dirty table or fill-up the breakfast buffet. In doing so, it would be better to have a third person or a self-stabling zone for dirty dishes. My personal advice is to visit once to the food court with cultural specialties at Little India. Furthermore, the WIFI connection in my room (ground floor) was weak. However, the hotel crew helped to get better connection at Lobby, outside terrace or next to swimming pool. In general, the hotel crew was really service-oriented and helped in all matters to have a great stay. Next time, I would take Daulat Hotel as excellent choice for pleasant days in Singapore again. Thanks for great days & see you soon. Malte from Germany

The hotel promises a pretty boutique experience with cosy atmosphere and an astisan architecuture. The staff are pretty warm and helpful. Fee concerns though, the bathrooms in few rooms are pretty small, and after the shower the water leaks in the room, also the breakfast could be a little more detailed for a better start to the day.

All in all, good for a budget lookout but better choose ur rooms right!

We stayed for four nights and were impressed by the room and location for MRT, tour buses and local markets. We had a balcony room which was great to observe the activities in the busy streets. The staff were very helpful especially Muthu at the front desk who did several trips with an umbrella in pouring rain to ensure that we and our luggage stayed dry when leaving for the airport. The only negative was that the rooms did not have a fridge but cold drinks were available from a fridge in reception at no charge. Great little hotel for a short stay.

Room tip: Go for the balcony room
