We walked here from Alexandra Canal Linear Park taking the fields behind the Queenstown Library and then Ridout Road. There are wonderful good size bungalows to admire along the route such as No 23, 31 and 35 Ridout Road as well as No 2 Pierce Drive and No 2 Pierce Road. Opposite No 2 Pierce Road is a cemented path leading to Dempsey Hill.
There are many restaurants here with a wide choice of different kinds of food. We were glad to visit PS cafe with its delicious food and lovely cosy ambience when seated outdoor. St George church in the nearby Tanglin Village is worth a look too.
PS. Cafe is one of my favourite cafes to visit since I was in college. On one weekend, we tried the famous PS.Cafe's brunch menu. The cafe is nestled among the lush greenery of Dempsey Hill Singapore. It is located at Harding Road, a little uphill road near Tanglin, Orchard. Even though it is city centre, but it has lots of trees. It's totally doesn't look like the Singapore you know. You can choose to sit indoor or outdoor, but my favourite is definitely the outdoor seat.
They have a selection of cakes and my favourite are the golden banana butterscotch cake and M's carrot cake, and I can tell you it is heavenly. They sell their cake by slice or whole cake, perfect for occasions.
I love to go there for brunch, some of the menu that I can recommend is the Brunch Burger, Blueberry Pancake, and the Chicken Rossa Penne. Love the combination of the sauce, mushroom, and chicken in the Penne. Meanwhile for the pancake, it is quite fluffy and has the combination of cream and orange sauce, so it's not too sweet. Lastly, the Brunch Burger could one of my favourite dish as the patty is so flavourful, it also comes with price so it's a great fulfilling choice.
Literally laid out on a hill, the place has witnessed a number of transformations throughout time. Redeveloped in 2007, this tranquil hideaway is now a dining, entertainment and shopping destination. Moreover, it is possibly one of the best areas in Singapore to fine dine, be it a brunch, lunch or dinner. It houses unique, upscale stores & restaurants spread out across a vast expanse. One of my favourites would be Jam @ Siri House.
We liked everything about this place from the first time we tried it to our final night in Singapore. The food is delicious,
Margaritas are lethal and there is live music Fridays and Saturdays and if you have consumed enough Margaritas then you can dance. The owners Ushu and Patrick are a great couple and will do everything they can to make sure that you will have a great night
Lovely place to visit good restaurants or cafes around. But it was a shame that they are doing the road work. DAYLIGHT ROAD WORK! That’s ridiculous! The whole area is so dusty and made you think twice to have a lunch there because of the smell and dust. They should have done this work in the midnight.
Consistent , quality Italian food. Truely delicious!
Pizza made with fresh dough and freshly bake with a revolving oven. The first in singapore that I know of.
Meat balls are so fresh and delicious!
Of course the pasta is excellent.
I truely enjoyed my lunch/brunch with good wine!
And the best chocolate gelato, rich taste of chocolate for chocolate lovers!
Great Cheese selections with special cheese soak In malt whisky , Barolo etc..... 😋
