My husband arranged this on our wedding anniversary, a programme which we can have some bonding time together. We both love perfumes very much. Spent around 2-3 hours here, creating perfume for ourselves and for each other.
I must say, is not easy to create perfume. whatever we have created smelt like diffuser or some sort of air freshner. No fault of this perfumery. We are not gifted to create perfume.
But it is a very interesting experience. You get to learn the different notes and layers of the perfume and you be surprised the type of flowers or herbs you are attracted to.
Very good bonding time for couples too, get to create perfume for each other.
But I think it will be good to have some coffeebeans or watever stuff in the place for us to remove the smell from our nose.
Prolong smelling of the essential oil for 2-3 hours, I really cannot smell anything by end of the day and I get really stuffy nose.
Nevertheless it is really fun! Strongly encouraged.

The environment is quiet, serene and artistic. We enjoyed making our own scents, but the drops really have to depend on individual (my friend has shaky hands thus her drops are heavier than mine in general), and we have a hard time remembering the count of drops for the final product as it requires more than 20 and more drops, but overall it's relatively easy.

I don't mind sharing the workshop room with other parties, but they can be quite loud (especially those that came in bigger groups) and it can get a tad too noisy. So was thinking it'd be good if they can separate those larger groups from smaller groups into different rooms. And the smell can get a little too overwhelming over some time.

And we started the workshop immediately without anyone asking for our names. It was a mini bridal shower for my friend and I paid extra for name engraving to make it special for her. However, we were given their normal perfume bottles. They were quick to rectify though and we still received our engraved bottles in the end. Thought it would be good to do a self introduction or at least a confirmation before we begin the workshop though. Just to make sure those who paid for the engraving receive their

All in all, we had a good time knowing different types of scents and facilitator is knowledgeable and helpful in our creations.

I went alone, not quite knowing what to expect but had such a pleasant experience!

Making your own scent can be quite overwhelming (it certainly was for my olfactory senses) but the perfumer was incredibly kind and patient, guiding me through the process and suggesting new scents to combine with the ones I liked.

Towards the end, I made a pretty great scent in the small bottle but failed to replicate it for the big bottle and she very kindly helped me adjust the big bottle to get the signature scent I was happy with.

Go in with an open mind and this will be a pretty rad experience.
