Well Singapore in general was great, and so was the hotel. It was clean and well maintained. The staff was smart yet a bit shrill on the ears. Location was a bit poor one, always a walk away for anything from taxi, MRT, bus.

Well the bad points about the hotel was it did not make you feel you are in a Hotel. Generally experienced that hotels and their staff are gentle in their dealings and are a bit accomodating to guests requests. Although the staff was smart and clear they seem to have an attitude of owning the hotel themselves. They would talk clear but in a authoritative way.

I liked their cleanliness yet their little rude and stiff behaviour was a less welcoming. Would not like to come here again but yes if I would overlook the hospitality, this a is a great option to choose.

Thank you
Sri

Booked online several months before travelling. Check-in quick. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Room very clean bed very comfortable and great walk in shower. Good location about $15 taxi ride from Changi airport. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Bus 5 minute walk and MRT 10 minutes. A very good budget hotel. Would definitely stay again.

After researching budget hotels in Singapore for a one night stay I came across the Champion Hotel, one of the reasons was the 24hr check-in as we arrived at 1:30am, other reasons were the good reviews on TA. The check in was easy and quick we were in our room in no time. The room was clean and comfortable, (note, the bed in our room was small, if you’re on the tall side your feet could hang over the bed-end) wasn’t a problem for us. I was impressed with this hotel; on checking out I asked to view some of the other rooms, the front desk had no hesitation in allowing us to view. There's no doubt we will return to this hotel. The walk to the closest MRT was less than 10 minutes.

We stayed here for two nights before a cruise. The location isn't far from the airport, but it is a distance from tourist attractions and the heart of Singapore. Fortunately, the subway is a ten minute walk. The boutique hotel is small, but modern, and it was very clean. We chose a room with a double and single bed and it was a decent size. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Cab drivers and locals haven't heard of the hotel so having the address handy was helpful.

Stayed for 3 nights in a large room containing 1 double and 1 single bed. Travelled as a couple with a 3 year old. Excellent value for money in a traditional area of Singapore which gives an insight into how the locals live. The staff were aways friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean. Endless choice of hawker eateries within close proximity - food is cheap, delicious and you get the chance to eat as the locals do. Easy walk from Paya Lebar MRT. You can walk all the way down Joo Chiat Rd to the ocean where there is a great park for exercising or just relaxing by the water ( only takes 15 at brisk pace, 20 minutes if strolling). The neighbourhood is safe and would definitely stay here again.
