Located at the Northern End of Singapore is Sembawang Park. A serene and quiet place to take away the stresses of life. There is an added attraction of visiting the old colonial houses with splendid visuals of black and white where once the British Navy stayed.
A rare sight on a hidden corner of Singapore where one gets to see tall buildings and public housings.
We went here on 18th May 2019 by bus. It was a long ride from Bugis to Sembawang, but we wanted to explore the city, so that's why we took bus instead of MRT.
To get here, take MRT to Sembawang station, or take bus to Sembawang Interchange. From Sembawang IC, take bus no. 882 which will take you directly to Sembawang Park.
The park was quiet and serene, good for those who are bored with the hustle bustle of downtown. The direct view to Johor Straits and Malaysia add plus points to this park.
Not only it's perfect for picnic, but also great for sunbathing.
A quiet place a colonial building serving food and ice cream seller on weekend. Good for dates but really nothing much to do here.
Family stress out gateaway picnic at sembawang park. Also family gathering with grandchildren. Time to relax with splendid outdoor activities.
Nice retreat to from hustle n bustle, would give 5stars if place was a bit cleaner
Can see johor from here, nice sandy beach
We went there last year and had a lot of fun there. Able to swim there but i dont think water is clean enough. I can say that one of the best park in Singapore in my opinion. I am looking forward to go there in near future.
