Came here for lunch last week with a friend and opted for the set lunch at the remarkable price of $9++. We both chose the vegetarian lasagna which was pretty good, but unfortunately hadn't been fully defrosted and so was cold on the inside. Service was a bit slow but otherwise fine. Can't really complain at this price level, but I certainly wouldn't want to be paying the regular price of circa $20 for a meal like this.

I am a regular at Cafe Ergo Sum and absolutely love everything about it - from its location, to the space, ambience, decor, service and the food.

My usuals are either the vegetarian sandwich (around $16) or a cheese (Margherita or four-cheese) pizza (around $26), both of which are absolutely amazing. I haven't had a vegetarian sandwich that good anywhere in the country.

But the best thing I like about the place is that it's not as crowded during lunch time and a wonderful place to just go and unwind in the middle of crazy, busy day.

One of my favourite cafes in Singapore!

Chanced on this cafe when exploring Duxton Hill and Road, very pretty part of Chinatown. Looks more like a jazz club than something related to Paulaner but has roasted knuckle on the menu as well. I had Reuben sandwich and they didn't include sauerkraut which I like in it and which belongs. After telling them, they apologized. I'll revisit, ambience is pleasant, and music was good. May try pizza next time... Iced latte was very good.
