Have passed this restaurant often during my hikes in Botanical Garden and finally stepped foot to try their food by arranging our yearly 1 Jan gathering there when my friend returns from Melbourne for CNY.
Love the ambience in natural settings and most of the food incorporate the element of ginger which is named Halia in Malay. The soy and ginger broth add flavour to the otherwise plain fillet in paperbag. The wagyu beef is fattily tasty and the portion is good enough for sharing leaving space in stomach for desserts. Must try the die die for chocolates if you are chocolates diehard fan as the sweetness in the chocolates is balanced with the tinge of raspberry sourness and cooling sorbet.
As for beverages, can go for hot ginger with cumin and cinnamon or ice ginger blend with orange and honey or refreshing ginger with mint, lime and blueberry.
For better savings go on Mon-Thu instead of weekend as set lunch is available and chope discounted vouchers can also be used. Enjoy and Live to Eat!
