We just completed another amazing stay at the Villa Samadhi Singapore. We were sad to leave. The staff is so extraordinary, it’s hard to describe it accurately. You really feel at home at this boutique hotel. The breakfast is fantastic with a variety of foods and drinks. Afternoon tea is a wonderful colonial touch. Dinner at the Tamarind Hill restaurant was excellent, yet again. All large cities offer expensive chains, but this small boutique hotel offers so much more. The historic buildings, interesting guest rooms, and grounds make you feel like you are back in history. The property is surrounded by the Labrador Park nature reserve, which has many waking and hiking trails through tropical forests. But, the hotel is less than a 10 minute walk to the MRT station. But actually more impressive that the property itself, the attentive and warm staff makes the stay even that more special. They are all extremely friendly, kind, generous with their time and attention to detail, and helpful. Frankly, this type of experience is just not realistic at a large hotel. We are business travelers, but it feels like vacation when we are at the Villa Samadhi. We are so thankful for another perfect stay, and we cannot wait to return next year. Many many thanks to everyone at the Villa Samadhi!

Room Tip: All rooms are very cool at this historic boutique hotel. Some may be larger than others, but they are all quite unique and very nice!

Loved how quiet it was and how beautiful the rooms are and how its an iconic black and white house.

The staff tried their very best to accommodate our requests and was always very cheerful and proactive even when answering my emails.

Was even more impressed when the manager himself came to greet us (personally by name) during breakfast the next which showed how much they truly cared about their guest.

Its definitely a place worth staying at especially if you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life without really being "away from it all".

Had a wonderful relaxing six nights in Villa Samadhi, the staff were always courteous, helpful, welcoming and happy. The hotel is a required taste...if you want contemporary luxury with all mod cons...then this isn't for you. What you get is a wonderful boutique, vintage, colonial like, peaceful holiday stay in a tranquil setting. The food was excellent in the Tamarind Hill, together with the service and choice. The reviews I have read to date have been spot on, highly recommended location and we would love to return and do it all over again!

Room Tip: We had a room with an indoor plunge pool in the bathroom - wonderful way to finish off the day.

My husband and I just had our staycation over the weekend at this beautiful resort housed in a black and white bungalow. Everything was excellent - from the amenities to the service. The jacuzzi was the highlight in the room and we felt truly pampered. Highly recommend to both locals and visitors to experience it!

Room Tip: Get a room with indoor jacuzzi

Our stay at Villa Samadhi Singapore couldn’t have been happier. Thanks to every one we met throughout our stay.
The villa is in a nature reserve by the coast, yet only 10 minutes walk to the MRT station for excellent transport connectivity. There’s a small shopping centre opposite the station and a food centre about another 5 minutes walk further along.
The villa is luxurious with beautifully maintained rooms and grounds. The decor and furniture is stunning which reflects its colonial charms and all very elegant. We liked the traditional staff uniform too!
The welcome drink was a pleasant surprise. We got a pot of tea with cakes and scones. Delicious! There was also complimentary cocktails daily between 6-7pm and sherry in the room.
Breakfast was served until 11am so we didn’t have to get up early. It was served in the outdoor section of the beautiful Tamarind Hill restaurant. There was a great selection of local and western buffet spread and cook-to-order choices. A lovely way to start the day, very laid back.
We liked the fact that check-in age was 21 and above. The villa was truly a perfect place to unwind.
Our only very small comment is that we would have liked to have local tv channels in the room.
We loved it! We’ll definitely see you again next year!
