Their speciality, the chili crab, was very good and really worth the price. I think the other item though, are expensive.

The venue itself is nice and spacious.

We had some guests in town and Jumbo was full booked for dinner, so we settle here

The waiter took 3 repetition to take a straight forward order - no customization of orders!
The food is good I have to say, the flavour is not overpowering, the homemade beancurd was very good, I would not order the crab next time $72 (it is the most expensive I had so far - not that it is much bigger) - we had the white pepper crab - it was good too.

For the same dollar, I think you get more bang for buck elsewhere. Attached the receipt, you figure out which one is from this restaurant and the other one the from Jumbo 2 days later as we decided to squeeze in some time for a lunch reservation. The guests prefer the gravy chilli crabs when they compared both experiences

Eating here, you'll have to look beyond the garish restaurant decor and just focus on the food. I've recommended visitors to this place as its easy to get to if you're coming in from Sentosa or Batam after a day out.

The chilli crab is comparable to Jumbo seafood's and about the same price too. They also do a good fried rice that goes nicely with the crab. The crab is spicy though, by Singaporean standards, so if you can't take much chilli, ask them to do a less spicy version. Remember to mop it up with the fried mantou (buns).

I wouldn't recommend their set meals as it starts tasting like the usual chinese wedding dinner. So pick and choose what you want from the menu - and stick with the seafood.

Chili crab was very good. The chili crab sauce has tasty flavor.

Service standard was acceptable. The waiter and waitress are not very attentive despite the restaurant was not busy.

Serving time is slow though. We ordered 6 dishes, including chili crab and prawn with oyster sauce. Chili crab and prawn served last, 20 minutes after they served the first 4 dishes.

The food is simply superb if you like local taste. The restaurant has amazing food quality. The service is excellent.
