Came here for a birthday celebration. The food quality is good for its buffet price point. Buffet style is ala-carte, meaning you order as much as you want for a single price. 2 options are given, premium and classic. IMO, classic is sufficient for a very good meal. Premium doesn't offer sufficient justification for its almost 50% increase over the base price.
Service is prompt with the food coming within a reasonable timeframe. They forgot a few orders though, probably due to the large amounts of orders.

TL:DR ; This Japanese buffet restaurant is well worth its basic price point and is heartily recommended for Jap food lovers.

Macpherson Road is typically off the radar screen to most foreign tourists to Singapore. This explains the paucity of reviews on TripAdvisor. But when you do happen to come upon it, don't miss out on the chance to give this little eatery a try.
While unassuming in visage and decor the menu is anything but. Whether a la carte or buffet style the choices are a plenty. Yet even the premium menu will not break your bank. Dishes include classic sushi bar fare and some fusion creations with Singaporean slant. All fishes are fresh and presentations delightful. They even allowed BYOB without extra charge when we ate there. You may see the occasional negative review on their website but the proprietor genuinely wants his clients to have a positive experience so you should find your visit here rewarding.

The usual meeting place for my pals. The quality and variety of food they served is excellent value for the price paid. The dining experience has always been pleasant for us!

If you are nearby and needed a quick, fast value-for-money set lunch..this is the place! The restaurant located along row of shop houses. Look from exterior is very dark..inside is surprising friendly. Food quality - one of better ones in this area. I do see business crowd going for buffet lunch...good deal too!

If you love Jap food this is a must try. This restaurant serves buffet priced at $72 ++ for a premium buffet set. What that means is that you sit and simply order what you want: salmon belly sashimi, white tuna, king prawn tempura, fresh oysters, steamy hot chawamushi. The raw food is super fresh and the wagyu beef tender and delicious. And tender juicy BBQ lamb fingers.

The restaurant is not easy to get to being tucked away in macpeherson amidst shop houses. It's hard to find parking. So you will have to look for lots around the area.

Definitely a worthwhile price for good delicious food. And reservation is a must.
