this used to be one of our fav go to place with my group of friends. we used to travel down to their old venue eventhough it is out of place and i had also brought many other friends and family there. My friends who had left Singapore and visiting after 3 yrs were keen to eat here as we all had good memories at Kushi. Imagine our disappointment when service is almost non existent. the place was not even full albeit there was 2 big groups that the male server in black polo were giving his full attention to, asking for 5 stars reviews.
i guess other patrons doesn’t matter and it is ok to get 10 x 1 stars for that 15 x 5 stars. Even if we are not important, at least act apologetic or when you are asking them for 5 stars, dont be too loud so 1 stars customers will not feel so offended.
We placed an order 3 times. We received 40% of our orders. We spoke to that guy who seems to be in charge (since he was asking those groups for 5 stars) - Initially he was apologetic but when we approached him for the 2nd time, he said he will check and come back to us but he nv did and just avoided eye contact after. the female staff claimed all our orders had been served, and when i named the dishes that did not arrived, she said they were too busy and maybe it was served to other tables.
If you wish to expand your business, i believed you would have anticipated you will have a bigger crowd, esp when most of the people made reservations and it was a friday night. All your staffs should know which table is which, in order to serve correctly. You seems to have no problem telling which table we were from when we were paying the bills.
Horrible service, slow service, no service recovery when u know u are lacking service, management only favor the customers who will spend more. To think that i mentioned the word ‘service’ 4 times when there are none.
