Great location in mid-Providencia, 3 blocks to Los Leones metro stop from a quiet tree lined street (off Suecia). The facility is modern euro style apartment hotel, rooms are comfortable, updated and relaxing with small living room and kitchen to enjoy after long sightseeing days, resting up to go out again.

Staff service impeccable especially the management of Luciano whom I was lucky to see regularly overseeing all the details; he knows his Carmenėre wines well!! They handle bookings, daily guidance, and overall make you feel as if you're personally assisted in this executive type of accommodations (a separate wifi router in your own room for a strong, secure connection).

My thanks to Luciano and everyone for a truly enjoyable stay.

Heidelberg Haus is actually an apart-hotel associated with the Heidelberg University (Germany). So from the outside, it doesnt even look like a hotel! That being said, we must point out that it is a FANTASTIC HOTEL! A hidden gem indeed!

-LOCATION: it is located in a residential area in Providencia. Away from all the traffic and noise, in a very quiet and SAFE neighborhood. It´s a 10-min walk from Costanera Mall and Los Leones subway station.

-BREAKFAST: i´d say there´s not a whole lot to choose from, BUT whatever they serve on a given day is quite enough and comes with decent quality.

-BATHROOM: great shower, VERY VERY TIDY, small (specially if you´re tall!), and they do provide a hairdryer, in case you need one.

-BEDS: very comfortable. Some apartments offer a nice view of the mountains and this little square in a roundabout across the street. There´s even a balcony with little chairs.

-STAFF: they´re ALL quite helpful, nice and friendly! No complaints at all.

-MISCELLANEOUS: The Wi-Fi is very good. Inside the apartment, there´s also a living room complete with a couch, a table, mirrors, mini-kitchen with micro-wave. So you can prepare you own meal, if you want to. Late check-out is offered, upon an extra fee.

Room Tip: Room 201 offers a view of the mountains as well as a balcony.

I stayed here for two nights, Feb. 25th & 26th and was very pleased with the friendly staff, the very clean and comfortable room and the upmarket neighborhood. The only downside is that it is located in a residential area. It would be perfect for someone who has access to a car, but a bit of a slog if you don't. There is an excellent convenience store about two and a half blocks away - but that is all I saw. To be fair, I really did not venture very far from the hotel or ask for directions to local restaurants, if any.
To summarize, very good value and a really nice place. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

We didn't know what to expect, and were very pleasantly surprised by Heidelberg Haus. It's located in a quiet street in an attractive district of Santiago, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was excellent and they served a good breakfast - all you could want!

The Heidelberg Haus was a great surprise suggested by a colleague of mine. It is a great alternative to regular hotels. All rooms have the same configuration (living room with a sofa and table with 2 chairs, small kitchen, bathroom and bedroom). It's nicely decorated and very clean. There is plenty of storage room and the kitchen is fully equiped for small meals. There is a big flat screen TV with cable in the bedroom and the bed is very comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom, which is REALLY small. There is no counter where you can leave your toiletries and the bathtub/shower can be too small for a big person (I am 1,73m high).

Breakfast was included, but is more similar to a hostel's breakfasts than to a hotel's. There are some fresh fruits you can pick, yoghurt, some bread, cheese, butter, tea, coffee, milk and cereal. For me it was enough to start the day, but some people could get maybe disappointed. There is also someone from staff to help you if you need to use the microwave or something.

The staff was nice and friendly. There are no elevators and the young guy in the frontdesk helped me by carrying my heavy luggage upstairs and the lady who was there when I checked out did the same downstairs. :)

The hotel is located in a very pleasant, quiet and safe neighborhood (Providencia) and is great to walk around. There are some shops and grocery stores within walking distance and a very large shopping district (Calle Providencia) also not far from the hotel.

I have paid 21.000 pesos for a taxi ride to the hotel on a Sunday evening.

Room Tip: I had a nice room with a great view to the Andes on the top floor.
