Estimada Rosa Gracias por vuestras opiniones nos hace muy feliz que hayan estado a gusto aqui espero volver a verlos aqui estan simpre bienvenidos saludos desde Chile HermannY Silvana
What I loved: terrific, very helpful host who speaks English as well as Spanish; hot shower with good water pressure (best shower I had in two weeks in Chile); HUGE comfy room with nice beds and plenty of covers (repacking for my return home was a breeze!). The host went way above and beyond, helping me get my phone charged twice when my converter gave out on me. She also helped me get a cab in the morning and allowed me to check in a bit early. The location is great, too--very near a Metro station and a few steps from a corner where it's easy to get a taxi. And the rate is incredibly reasonable.
What I didn't like so much: Bugambillias room has a lot of road noise--more than this non-city-dweller is accustomed to; if you want more quiet, try a room that doesn't face the busy street. The breakfast was served in-room, and many items were not appealing to me; I would have rather chosen items I would have liked and skipped the rest to avoid waste and get more of what I like.
Hello, thank you for writing and give ideas to improve this we can give better care to passengers. greetings Silvana
Silvana and her husband were the sweetest people in Santiago. Their location was brilliant - in quiet neighborhoods of Providencia but a five minute walk from a metro station. We felt right at home and the place was cozy and clean. She was so helpful and when our bus to Mendoza from another city in Chile got postponed due to snow, we found ourselves back on her doorstep at Blumenhaus a few days later, hoping for a room for the night. She was so happy to see us again that we felt like family. Highly recommended.
Thanks for your comments are serving much better care and wait for you when you want to return one day Hermann and Silvana sincere salutations
Blumenhaus became my base during my 2 month travels through Chile and it was wonderful! Hermann and Silvana were extremely accommodating and friendly, and enthusiastic about helping me have a great experience in Santiago and Chile. The location is great, far enough from the busy areas to be relaxed and a 5 min walk to the metro and close to some great cafes, bars and restaurants. I speak little Spanish and had no problems with language as all staff spoke English well. I echo the review made by Neal M, it was a lovely place to stay and excellent value.
Your comments help us much to improve even more, we are very happy to see that completed your goals on your vacation and you were very much at home you're a very good client and friend now hope to see you very soon

I have travelled to Santiago several times and my issue has always been that it is very hard to find quiet areas and quiet places to stay. Of course there are nice hotels, but those tend to be in either extremely noisy places, or places that are simply out of my budget.
Blumen haus provides what is hard to find in Santiago. It is located in a quiet area of town with little noise, making your stay all the more relaxing and hassile free. It is located in Providencia, which is a charming part of town with a lot of beautiful cafes, bars, and restaurants, in addition to cozy neighborhoods and parks. You are also minutes away from great shopping and dining in Tobalaba and Costanera Center, which has both the highest building in Latin America, as well as one of the nicest malls in the continent. What I liked as well was the proximity to what is known as the "precordillera de los andes," which is the beginning of the Andes mountains. You can take a short bus ride from the B&B and be on the trails of the Andes mountains. In addition to that, the famous San Cristobal hill is not far, which is one of the nicest urban parks in South America. Access to these places is all made easy due to the fact that the B&B is only a 5 minute walk from the metro. There are also frequent buses which run all night and are very convenient.
Besides being a great, quiet, and serene location, the B&B itself is wonderful. It is owned by a Chilean couple, Hermann and Silvana, who are an absolute delight to stay with and will do absolutely everything to assure that you have a comfortable and relaxing stay. The B&B itself has several charming rooms, many of which have beautiful paintings from South American artists, super comfortable beds, and an ambiance which will help you relax and enjoy your stay to the max.
There is also a nice commons area outside, where you can sit down, relax, enjoy a nice cup of wine and converse with the other guests from the B&B. You can also relax in the living room area, watch a movie, read a book, or just relax on one of the comfortable sofas.
I absolutely recommend this hostel to anyone coming to Santiago and wants to see the quiet and relaxing and more affordable part of the city, as opposed to the hustle and bustle of the downtown or extremely expensive areas out of your budget such as Las Condes or Vitacura. I would recommend this B&B to any English or Spanish speaker I know and I am not always this approving in my reviews of places to stay.
Respondo tarde sorry pero gracias por vuestras palabras y buenas ideas en español sorry . Hermann y Silvana
