Imagine a small boutique hotel with crazy features like bathtubs with glass tops filled with goldfish, modern art in every corner, lavishly decorated decor, lounge music and friendly service - Isabelle is the best! This is an artist's dream come true. Located centrally in Cusco. Wonderful restaurants nearby (although food prepared at the hotel is great).

It's not a cookie cutter hotel, for sure. When you enter, you'll be confused. There are hallways going each way, and nothing is clearly marked.

When we went, we wandered in until we found Augustus (who we've sadly learned is no longer there). He took us into the middle dining room, brought us coca tea (much needed as Cusco elevation can get to you), and took our bags. When he came back 10 minutes later, he handed us the key and led us up to our room. We had the Red Room, and it was amazing!

Again, this isn't your standard hotel. The rooms are works of art, each designed completely differently. We weren't sure we would, but we loved it! To be honest, we stayed both at Fallen Angel and Belmond Monasterio, and though the Monasterio was amazing, we actually talked more about Fallen Angel.

I've seen people comment that the music was loud, but to be honest, we were never in our room before 10:30. We went on tours most of the days, and either were at the Plaza or having dinner, so the music never bothered us.

The breakfast was AWESOME! They give you the option to come down to eat, or bring to your room. You don't really choose something, it's whatever the cook creates that day. I suppose we could have asked, but we kind of liked the surprise, and were never disappointed.

You can walk to the Plaza in less than 5 minutes from here. You can also hit most of the major shopping / tourist things in downtown Cusco within 10-15 minutes walk from here.

HIGHLY recommend Fallen Angel, especially if you're adventurous and looking for a memorable experience.

Room Tip: Red room was great, though it's only good for couples (not much shower/bathroom privacy)

I had a very pleasant experience at the Guest House at Fallen Angel this month. The rooms are very nice designed ( assuming you are not looking for a box room at Hilton or Marriott. The staff was excellent. The breakfast was fantastic. Great atmosphere, great restaurant if you choose to eat there.

Room Tip: All rooms are amazing if you like their style, I obviously did

We really loved the guest house at the Fallen Angel, but it isn't for everyone. If you love a really cool, *really* hip experience, you will love the Fallen Angel. Each room is a work of art that takes shabby chic to an incredible level. We had the blue room. Also, as I always like to do my check offs, they had comfy beds, a safe in each room and descent internet. Also, the breakfast was great, and so lovely that we could get it served in the room. So far, really great!

The Fallen Angel is a restaurant before it is a hotel! It just is, and you need to totally get that. Just about every night from about 630 to exactly 1030, they employ a DJ who cranks the music in the restaurant, and you will hear it in your room, as the walls are thin and the place is small. I will admit this isn't something that we would normally accept, except the beautiful Fallen Angel and its lovely staff really won our heart. Also, when I say the music shuts off at exactly 1030, I mean it, you can set a clock to that.

Room Tip: They are all so great, it would be hard to say one is better than the next.

This hotel is incredible! It was amazingly decorated and the bed was the best thing I have ever slept on! The hotel is well located, close to sights, restaurants etc. The breakfast in the morning is also to die for. I would recommended anyone to stay her for an unforgettable holiday!
