We had previously stayed here on a group tour, and liked the hotel for its location and comfort.
As we were travelling individually, we decided to stay here on a 3 night stopover.

Although last time was good, this time was unbelievable. From the welcome back we received from the staff at the entrance on our arrival, to the service and overall stay was amazing. When we informed Alan ( the best concierge we have come across in all our travels) that we were going early next morning to Machu Picchu, he suggested we book into the spa for our return. We then went to our room. Last time we stayed we were in a basic room, that was extremely comfortable but a bit on the small side. We could not believe the room we had this time. The deluxe suite was located above the central garden courtyard. Upon entering all we could say was wow. From the hand painted murals to the quaint little verandah overlooking the churchyard next door, the room was one of the best we have ever stayed at. Very large and unbelievably comfortable.
The buffet breakfast here is excellent, and one of the reasons for our return.
On our return from a full days journey to Mach Picchu ( left at 4am, returned at 8pm) we were late for our spa. But there was no problem and we quickly changed and went for the best spa experience we have ever had. Definitely a must do after a very hard days sight seeing!
Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations, and thanks to all the excellent staff ( especially Alan) for their service and personal efforts in making our trip ideal.

Room Tip: Definitely worth the extra for the courtyard rooms.

We stayed in this hotel from Feb. 27 to 29. Hotel was selected by Gate1 Discovery Tour that we have joined. Service of the hotel is excellent. Location is convenient. Food is great. We had the pleasure of knowing Eliio Felipe and David - Managers in the restaurant. Both are super courteous and so are the waiters. Six of us joined Gate1 Discovery Tour. Hotel restaurant made it a point to remember to reserve a table for six. We tour the spa and it's quite impressive. Too bad we did not have time to enjoy. We highly recommend this hotel in Cusco.

Room Tip: Our friends and us have rooms facing different direction. They are quiet rooms.

Palacio del Inka Hotel is built around a beautiful courtyard and is directly adjacent to the Cusco Cathederal, which is on the ruins of a Inca Temple.

The staff's hospitality was outstanding. We were traveling with a tour group of 90+ and the staff superbly managed our arrivals and departures. Very personable treatment even with such a large group.

We were treated to an outstanding dinner and breakfast buffet during our visit and the chef and wait staff were superior. Excellent preparation and presentation.

Our room was on the small size but quiet and comfortable. Fresh linen and towels were excellent.

This is an excellent hotel and Cusco! Highly recommended!

I was here for 3 nights before my trek to Machu Picchu and then returned for one night after my trek. My first room was very small with no view at all, but the second room was much nicer with a lovely view over a square in Cusco. It is a big hotel, so not much personal attention, but delicious breakfast with good service.

Room Tip: There is a difference in the rooms, so ask for a room with a view!

Dear Guest,

Thank you for having chosen our Palacio del Inka during your visit to Cusco city.

We are pleased to read that you enjoyed your second room with a lovely view over Santo Domingo Square.

Moreover we are happy to know that you enjoyed our breakfast buffet, served daily and accompanied by a live harp player, the buffet features a variety of fresh breads and local delicacies, such as elderberry jam, Creole salad, and cooked ham. Hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and fruit juices, complement the epicurean options.

We look forward to welcome you back in the near future.
