Although I didn’t stay here, I wanted to write a review because they were so very welcoming to me as a non hotel guest. This incredible building, rich with Incan and Spanish history, is worth checking out just for the cathedral and architectural details.
I was getting tired, walking the lovely stairs of San Blas with friends. We were casually dressed, and my friend had fallen and was looking for a place to rest. I spied this beautiful display of tea with terra cotta cups, the sun positively glowing on them. I ventured inside, flip flops askew, and was greeted as warmly as if I was Angelina Jolie.
I asked about the tea, and they offered all of us some, and a seat. We reclined in beautiful rich leather chairs, and I admired the art work, while my friends explored the charming courtyard.
After being hounded all day for money for the smallest things, here we were being treated like royalty and were not even asked to pay. (I offered) So thank you staff, for being so gracious, and sharing this luxury hotel site with regular folks like us!More
