Great location on the ramblas area. Decent value for the money. Room was pretty small, as was the bathroom. However, the price was right and had a decent breakfast and pool area. Good place to stay if your wanting a good price and not downtown.

Room Tip: get a view of the ocean

The hotel..needs some minor work but it could be big to some people, something simple like a change of facet and shower curtains...more pressure in the hot water. The upstairs rooms are to small for us and the bed are to short for tall people. You need to pay extra and stay in the bigger rooms downstairs. Some of the workers are nice specially the old timers. We stay there more than once and now we request the downstairs only because of the size of the rooms and do not want to go up with bags...the breakfast its ok and the restaurant has good chaletas de cerdo. The tv... can not put the volume loud so if you are hard of hearing too bad... over all a hotel is to sleep and take a shower.... will prefer not to have a paper on it that ir says clean or sanitized and assume that it has been done and have a real good shower head with powerful water and not a rusted pipe or no pressure in the water..but its not a real expensive hotel... even though is expensive like everything in Uruguay...

Room Tip: lower floor bigger rooms own parking by room

Cheap solution to 4am flight. This hotel is minutes from the Montevideo airport and not far from local restaurants. The room was small, there's no elevator and the odd floor plan of the hotel makes it hard to find the room (like a maze). However the staff were very professional and does have a restaurant on site for convenience. At least I got to sleep a bit before heading out to the airport at 2am.

The staff is very friendly. They did their best to help you. Since there are no elevators they would retrieve your luggage. The hotel itself is a maze. The rooms are very small and the furnishings and bath quite outdated. The restaurant serves very nice meals. Breakfast, european like, is included. Eat at the restaurant across the street for dinner.
Reserve airport shuttle in advance, its not always available. The closet was...interesting. I have no idea what I would put in one. Electrical outlets are scarce.

Room Tip: I am guessing the first floor rooms with lanai are best. I didn't stay in one.

Cheaper rooms are small, but the staff is friendly, No english on the tv, but, quiet rooms left me sleeping late. Highly recommendable. In a very beautiful area of Montvideo, about 4 km from an expensive beach area where there is great food, and interesting sights.

Room Tip: Rooms are ok, if you want more space pay a little more than the standard rate.
