Hotel is dated and without many amenities BUT, rooms are clean, good sized and adequate. Location in town is excellent for single female travellers...Fridge in rooms would be an assett as would a kettle .. most flights arrive at 11pm so heating water for a cuppa soup would be great. All shops and needs within walking distance. Cruise terminal an easy walk. Liked it all!

Room Tip: Go for the balcony .. if you have a noise problem, ask for the side street balcony

Stayed here for 2 nights prior to boarding our Cruise. Quite an old Hotel (1970's). Rooms were clean, bed was ok and pillows were a bit lumpy. Ask for a back room as the rooms that face the Marina and road are very noisy. It was a good location with just a 10 minute walk to the Cruise and Ferry Terminal. Plenty of cafes for breakfast within walking distance and the food trucks at night are a great place to eat and they are near the cruise terminal. This Hotel is good for a very short stay as it is not very flash but in a good location.

Great convenient location opposite the waterfront and right in the heart of Papeete. Clean and comfortable room of good size. No fridge in room but staff happy to keep our milk in fridge at reception. Good basic breakfast. Friendly staff. Good cross ventilation with doors open although more traffic noise. A/c worked quite well at night.

Room Tip: Back rooms quieter but miss out on the harbour view. Nice outlook to the mountains though.

Chose Tiare Tahiti Hotel for the location convenience. Five minute walk to the market, ferry and Roulette food trucks. Room (harbor view) was clean but street noise was Alot louder than I expected it to be. Staff was nice and breakfast was sufficient.

Close to town, food trucks, had AC, but nothing special. It is a basic accomodation, some rooms have views of the harbour but overall Papeete is nothing pretty and nor is this hotel. The rooms are very basic, but it ok for 1-2 nights to check out the local town before you head to the islands. It's a small simple operation and nothing fancy.

Room Tip: All rooms have views so choose the cheaper one!
