Some sites will tell you this quaint little hotel is in Managua's Zona Rosa...it is NOT (about 4 -5 km away). But if you would like a nice little getaway with 2 pools and a great bar and restaurant, cool ambience, cheap rooms, and all local clientele (except for this Norte Americano)...this is the place! Rooms are basic but clean, with great air conditioning and hot water all times of day/night. You may have to brush up on your Spanish - I didn't speak a word of English in 2 days there, but i think the lady who is front desk supervisor might speak a little. If you like your beers cold be sure to tell the waitress muy fria, otherwise they bring you a tepid one from the front of the fridge. All in all a very nice experience.

Room Tip:Might ask for a room in the main part of the hotel - the satellite across the street does not...

They don't answer emails and then complain that reservations cannot be changed because one called too late. I was not impressed with the way that my request was handled and as such, wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. It's disappointing.

I had a wonderful time in Nicaragua. I was upgraded for some reason to a private room instead of my dorm style room. The hotel is very clean and I had comfortable pillows and bed. It was such a luxury (I am a backpacker) to have soft towels and sheets. The location is very close to grab things to eat, a convenient store, and ATM. The restaurant at the hotel was great too. I was able to hire a private car from there to see Ometepe, Granada, Leon, and San Juan de Sur, one place a day. I even stayed at their sister hotel in San Juan. Gerald was my private hire driver. He was great. So professional, respectful, good company and I felt very safe while driving and all of our places visited. Carlos and Allison run things and I was super happy they helped me have a great and memorable experience all over Nicaragua. 100% recommend

Nice hotel located on a quiet residential street with easy access to all Managua has to offer. Friendly and helpful staff. Not the Hilton but very good. 2 pools as the hotel has rooms on each side of the street. Nica type breakfast was included. If I had to look for something to complain about the lights in the pool weren't working which made it hard to find my kids when they went under. Would highly recommend this hotel when you travel to Managua.

Very friendly staff at the reception. The bedrooms are simple, but the beds are sufficiently comfortable and everything is kept very clean. Hotel is secured by outside fences and night-guards; cars can be parked behind the fences. Breakfast is good and the pool is nice and refreshing. Our highlight was a lost wallet from my friend, which must have fallen out while sitting on the chairs at the pool by the bar - the very friendly bar-tender found it in the morning and had it locked away immediately: when we asked for it, it was returned with all the money and all cards inside - nothing was missing. We were overwhelmed and of course gave a large tipp for finding it. Muchas Gracias!
