We celebrated my birthday with a really good meal at Lula by Darna. It’s a large restaurant allowing a quiet table if you want it. We went at 7pm and it was almost empty - the locals tend to eat much later. For non-Spanish speakers there was a menu in English. My wife took the grilled chicken breast which was nothing really special but the pumpkin soup that preceded it was excellent , as was my rib-eye steak done to perfection, one of the best I’ve ever tasted. It’s not cheap but then Panama City isn’t either. The only negative was the poor selection of (kosher) red wine. Otherwise we highly recommend Lula and are so grateful to be able to dine on a fine kosher meal in Latin America.
