Stayed there for a few days and have mixed feelings about that. For the low price of the room you get what you need. Shuttle at the airport was waiting for us about 1 and half hour, because we had delay, breakfast were fine, usually eggs or sausage with bread or fried banana. Our room and bathroom was small but clean, it was also very simple to find out how to work with AC. Hotel provides everyday free shuttle to/from Albrook Mall at 10am/6pm. It is also very close to metro station Loteria, so it's not difficult to get there from various parts of the city.
Negatives. Hotel staff is mostly Spanish speaking, there was only one lady speaking English and only this lady was kind to us. When we asked about long term accommodation or taxis in panama city different receptionists, typical answer was "no", "i dont know", "it's not possible" or "it doesn't matter" without any willing to help us. Hotel is situated in part of the city called Caledonia, which is not one of the safest - it is not recommended to go out from the hotel after dark (about 8pm). This part of the city is not touristic, mostly local people lives in that area. Street is very noisy and furniture really old.
To sum up, there is no better hotel in Caledonia for that price, but next time I would consider to stay at different part of the city. Because we changed our plans and left the hotel 1 day before our planned checkout, we got $40 discount for our next stay or for food in the restaurant from the English speaking receptionist.
