Very nice, clean hotel. The staff was nice as well. If you are not there for business close to this hotel, I would recommend staying at the other Holiday Inn location. This is strictly a business area. Very boring area of town. But with that being said, very relaxing if that's what you want to do.

Top notch, I have been pleasantly surprised at the restaurant. I have stayed here twice and the food is excellent. The ribeye was perfect again !!!! The waitresses are the best !!!! Why we have to use 200 words for trip advisor I will never understand. A person can surely describe what they feel in less than 50.

We spent one night in this hotel, in a quadruple room. Rooms are really clean, service is good. Restaurant for dinner really good, breakfast wasn't one of the best, also considering the 9 dollars per person.

The new renovations of this Holiday Inn really take it up a notch from what you might be expecting. They've made a first class hotel out of it. The lobby areas are nicely decorated. Elevators look new. The room is nicely appointed and surprisingly quiet. We were on the top floor with young wedding party guests--usually the kiss of death for a good night's sleep, but I never heard a peep out of them. I give kudos both to the hotel for sound insulation and for the respectful wedding party guests! The hotel is well located in the heart of the historic Alexandria business district and great for walking around. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet which was not included in the room price but was quite affordable, and especially appreciated Don's efforts at making sure we had fresh scrambled eggs.

Spent one night on a three week road trip of the South and were surprised by the comfort and professional in this hotel, both of which exceeded some of the higher class hotels we had stayed in. Our check in was warm and helpful, even though we were several hours early before check-in....no problem. Within an hour of arrival we had a personal call to ensure our room was ok for us. These small things make such a big difference and left an impact on us. If you are staying in Alexandria, then I wouldn't consider another hotel. Restaurant staff are so helpful, front desk and the rooms were very comfortable. Well done to the team working here, clearly customer focused.
