This hill on the north side of Antigua affords views to the colonial gem of Antigua and the majestic volcanoes beyond

You must use caution when visiting, there have been vehicle break-ins in the parking lot so if you drive take that into account.

Also visit when there is a crowd , as it is slightly isolated I felt safe but common sense is always a good idea

Great viewpoint over Antigua, but dirty and very dusty! Need to watch for pick pockets. Unfortunately we couldn’t see Volcano due to haze. Steep walk up lots of steps, wear closed in shoes. Souvenirs, but vendors not pushy.

Watch out for all the school kids... There is a bathroom at the parking lot, unless a school bus just unloaded a hundred kids, then it is a long wait. The cross offers a view of Antigua and mountains. It is rough terrain walking to the view. The vendors were no pushy the day we went which made it a pleasant experience. We drove to the top unlike the many that walk up the steep climb.

I walked up on a Monday morning, and it was quiet. Very few people, and it was a great view. The path to get up to the top is very well manicured, with paved steps. Took about 15 minutes to get to the top. Great spot for arial photos of the city.

Loved the stunning views! It's not a long hike but the high altitude will definitely have you breathing a little heavy on the way up but it's so worth the climb. It's walking up steps the whole time so it's not like a crazy hike.
