Very nice hotel in a great, convenient location to easily walk to the old town. Great breakfast options and friendly, welcoming service from all staff. Our room on a high floor offered us a view of the sea.

Was pretty hot when we visited Split, around 30 C. obviously you hope to be able to cool down and rest when you make it to hotel. Didn't happen, temperature on our room never got below 21.7. Asked desk to help to no result. Friends of ours complained about the same, so no isolated issue.

Dear baraklo,

Thank you for evaluating your recent stay with us. We regret to hear about problem with air conditioning in the room.

During these months of the year, it is not usual for the air conditioning to be turned to such low temperatures. Since the outside was over 30 degrees, temperature of 21 degrees in the room is a reasonable temperature.
For security reasons temperature in the room cannot be much lower than it is outside. We try to ensure that rooms are at a comfortable temperature for every guest.

We hope that you will renew your confidence and your next stay will meet to benefit your expectations and wishes.

Kind regards,

Josipa Parčina

We recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Location is great, just a few steps from the pedestrianized Split waterfront, where there are plenty of restaurants and bars. At the corner is a large pharmacy and opposite the hotel are two markets (Studenac and Tommy) that sell as much bottled water and anything else you could want. An excellent bakery is just down the road after Tommy.

Coming to the hotel, we had booked a Superior Room (larger room about 270 sq ft with a sea facing large balcony) and they assigned us #505 on the highest floor. We had a lovely view of the Split harbor and could watch cruise ships and ferries going in and out all day! The room itself was very comfortable with good a/c and bedding and was very stylishly decorated in purple, silver and white. The colors were startling at first but we soon got used to it. They have a tiny restaurant downstairs just off the lobby where breakfast is served each morning. Excellent range of cold cuts, smoked salmon, pastries and a limited but good range of hot dishes including scrambled eggs, sausages, etc. You get your own tea and coffee from the machine which I found more efficient than in other hotels where you sometimes have a long wait for tea and coffee.

Now to highlight a few quirks. The hotel does not have anyone to help you with your bags so you have to lug them up and down in the elevator yourself. When we arrived, they seemed startled that we each had a checked bag. Maybe a lot of people come to Split for long weekends so they have small carryon bags, but we were in the middle of a 2-week trip. They also have no room service so if you want anything like ice, you have to go down to get it yourself. This was by far the most expensive hotel of the four hotels we stayed at over 2 weeks, and at that price point, I would expect them to hire someone to help with luggage and take care of simple guest requests. There is a shortage of good hotels with elevators in Split, so I suspect this will continue. But overall, its still a very good hotel and we enjoyed our stay here.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a Superior Room, much more spacious than the Comfort rooms. Only 30 rooms in the hotel, so book well in advance.

We had only 2 nights in Split and going onwards to Brac Island afterwards.

I choose this hotel due to its location next to the main ferry port. The location of this hotel couldn't be more convenient. Its perfect if you are taking the ferry like we did as it was only about 5 minutes walk to the port.

The main food market is just across the main street, however it was close on Sunday so we couldn't experience the food on offer. And the Diocletian Palace and the Riva promenade is a short walk away.

The room:
We had the bigger suite as we have our daughter with us; so there is a separate living area and the bedroom. The sofa turned into a double bed at night. The suite is spacious and clean.

Breakfast:
Breakfast is really good and have quite a varied spread. You wouldn't starve. They do have cooked hot breakfast.

In all, we enjoyed our stay here. The room is spacious and clean, the location is perfect and the staff is friendly and helpful. I do recommend this hotel.

We stayed 2 nights as a family.

Firstly we slept really well as the thick walls mean the bedrooms are really quiet.

The hotel is walking distance from all the main attractions of split so you don’t need to worry about buses and taxis.

Breakfast buffet is very good with lots of fresh fruit and pastries.

Hotel has a nice vibe and all the staff are really welcoming.

2 great restaurants just round the corner (left out of the hotel then first left - 2 minutes walk).

Overall highly recommended.
