We were looking for somewhere for lunch when we first arrived in Dubrovnik in early September. The city was buzzing and we didn't want a full meal, so when we spotted Paparazzo's peaceful terrace just behind the Cathedral with plenty of vacant tables we grabbed one.
Service was frustratingly slow throughout our meal, and like a previous reviewer, we witnessed people getting up and leaving as they'd not even had orders taken. However we persevered. Unfortunately the sticky ribs with honey and chilli which I fancied was not available - apparently they'd not had a meat delivery - but they did have the chicken wings and onions rings combo?! We ordered that plus the mushroom bruschetta, caprese salad and battered prawns. All were very nice and arrived all together on one board. Not a lot of food in volume, but fine for lunch.
Overall we did enjoy the meal, and it was a very pleasant spot to eat with the view of the Cathedral but away from the hustle and bustle. However we were frustrated - despite trying to relax and soak up the atmosphere - with the very very slow service. There was only one waiter who was never in sight to get his attention until he appeared occasionally with a plate of food, so hard to order extra drinks etc. Perhaps he was also the chef!
