A hotel with royal character. This old building has a unique artwork especially the entrance, dining rooms and the lift.i loved the atmosphere of being living in 1890. The high ceilings and long windows transferred me back to the historical palaces.
Location is convenient to whom looking for downtown hotels as it is in city centre..many transports are available few steps away
Dining is very good with fresh items
Upper rooms with direct sea view are the best. I'd like to visit this hotel again on my next trip to Alex

Great Edwardian decor The dinning room where we had breakfast is just beautiful.Decoration service and choice very good. The room had a good sea and city view. The foyer looked great, club chairs and tea and coffees available.

Room tip: Sea views Can be requested

We arrived late at midnight and the promised room was not available any more. I contacted the hotel in advance with the late checkin.

So we got the correct room at the second night. The receptionist was not helpful in the first night.

The rooms are quite big and high with antique furniture.
The breakfast was very good.
Apart from the first receptionist all staff was very friendly and helpful.

From the hotel you can walk to the sea in 2 minutes. The tram station is very near as well. With that you can drive to the Citadelle or to the bibliotheca in a short time.

We enjoyed staying in that hotel.

This hotel is beautiful in design and ambiance. Furniture and lobby are lovely. The breakfast not great and rooms need maintenance especially bathrooms. For the price it is excellent and for location brilliant. Close to the corniche of alexandria...

This hotel really one of the famous hotels in Alexandria but now the personal are going to make it the worst one.
- First impression you can observe it the uniform of the girls working there in the reception.
- The dining room so big but with little number of huge circular tables which is not practicle at all so everytime in breakfast time you should wait To get a table.
- The quality of food is not good.
- The only good thing is the location
