This place towers over the neighborhood, making it easy to find, but also somewhat out of the way. Mandalay is perhaps a disappointment to any tourist who finds himself there, but if the Ritz Grand is the right location for you, it would not be because of the accommodations. The rooms are bright and cheery, and the view is great from the upper floors. Breakfast is respectable and staff bends over backwards to be helpful. Should I ever find myself in Mandalay again, I wouldn't hesitate to consider repeating my visit.

We stayed here for four nights in March. The hotel is modern and clean, and our room was also very clean and the bed comfortable!

Breakfast is varied and delicious - Myanmar and Western style options. We ate at the roof top restaurant 3 of the nights of the stay as it was so good. We loved the ambience and the views. The menu is varied and the food excellent. The prices are very reasonable.

The staff at this hotel are wonderful. So friendly and helpful. We'd like to thank them for their professionalism and help with organising day trips / taxis / etc.

We would highly recommend this hotel, and already have done so to a friend who stayed for a night and loved it as well!!

This place exceeded our expectations. True king-size bed and way more comfortable than almost all beds in Europe and other locations in Asia. Astounding breakfast. And classy, attentive staff. Amazing value. We had an identical experience at a hotel in Yangon just prior to this so we decided this was now a pattern. And the roof-top restaurant/bar fed us really well both nights. Great spot up there. Myanmar, your hotels impress us.
