Highly recommend joining this tour early in your trip to Luang Prabang. It gave us so much more context for things we saw just walking around town. Our guide was very friendly and was happy to answer any questions you might get have about the local religion or customs.

This was an amazing and unique tour experience. We have been to many Buddhist temples but to be led by a former novice who could share more details about monkhood was a truly unique experience. It really answered so many of our questions about what it’s like to become a monk and offered great cultural insight. A must do, but book early because they sell out quickly.

Sy was extremely good at explaining Buddhism to us. He was pleasant and spoke very good English. I would strongly suggest this tour for anyone interested in learning about Buddhism and local culture.
