Very nice Indian food....you would immediately feel as if you are in India and having nice homely local food....the food is much closer to what simple, daily Indian food would taste like, and not the heavily spicy and oily food that we usually get in Indian restaurants.....service is very good....there are a lot of veg options too...In short - good place to go with family/friends to have Indian food...

Even though this is an Indian restaurant, there is a uniquity to the menu. There is a choice to sit both inside and outside. The restaurant is above dolce vita on the plaza, it is probably missed because of this , but is one of the best Indian restaurants we have been too, from the food to the atmosphere. With its 'Bombay frozen Marsala delight' drink to the unique menu, it was a pleasure to eat there.

After a long walk at JBR, we entered Bombay By The Bay for lunch......It was empty...Nice interior..We sat inside, as out side was hot and humid.... frozen masala madly, drink was a mistake...Khubani bhari tikki, was not bad...Gilati Chicken biryani, which they served along with plain raita was ,gud ..For desert we ordered Gulab jamun...i should say ,one who had Gulab jamun in India should not try it .. or one who want to taste gulab jamun for the first time should also avoid it in Bombay By The Bay ,otherwise they will never eat gulab jamun in their life...Service was good...

Bombay is an okay restraunt, no atmosphere at all and always quiet. Food quality was good although my sister has a gluten allergy and they did not really understand it at all she ordered plain chicken tikka and in the end, got chicken korma curry, would not rave about this restraunt at all.

We had to go up a scruffy elevator to get there, and then walked into the empty restaurant which was empty on a Saturday night. Nether less we ordered and were given our drinks in cans and no serviettes, between us we had a mixture of curries and as we are regular Indian food eaters were appalled at the quality. It honestly tasted horrible and we soon realised why the restaurant was empty. AVOID- ITS A WASTE PF MONEY AND THERE ARE MUCH NICER RESTAURANTS FOR THE SAME PRICE.
