We attended the Lost Chambers at night which gave it a very different feel to our previous visits during the day.
It seemed very mystical and the fish definitely behaved differently too. We started talking to Oshani (one of the Lost Chambers employees). She was very knowledgeable about everything that happens at the aquarium including the hospital, the health of the animals, the environment that the fish are kept in and she was very keen to educate my son on the sharks and the rays. I learnt a lot too.
Knowing now that behind the scenes is so busy too and they do offer tours for these areas I would definitely visit again.

So different to any other aquarium I’ve visited. With 65,000 fish and some of the largest tanks you will find anywhere in the world, you can sit there all day looking into the tank. Loved it!

As we were staying at Atlantis we got the aquarium free which was great but I would still advise you to pay to go if you aren’t staying at the hotel.

Me and my wife enjoyed a wonderful half hour in the Ambassador Lagoon to view close up the sharks/rays and other fish that fill the pool. Staff were very good in putting us both at ease before the session started. Would thoroughly recommend this activity to those visiting Dubai.

Having been to the S.E.A Aquarium in Singapore previously, we had high expectations from The Lost Chambers Aquarium.
But we ended up with an underwhelming experience. The aquarium was much smaller than the S.E.A Aquarium. We strolled as leisurely as we could and still did not spend more than 1 hour here. I am told this one is larger than the aquarium at the Dubai Mall so I think it's good that we did not visit the aquarium at Dubai Mall. I remember spending 2.5 to 3 hours at the S.E.A Aquarium and still feeling rushed. The S.E.A Aquarium also had information about all the fishes and marine animals on display which we read through to better appreciate what we were seeing. There is similar information available at the Lost Chambers also but it seems to be added as an afterthought. The information panel is missing for several exhibits leaving you clueless about what you are seeing infront of you.
