We spent 7 nights at Jumeira Rotana on the all-inclusive package.
We were upgraded to a premium room with a view on a non-smoking floor, which despite best efforts from the hotel, the smell of smoke still permeates into the rooms (I would say that this i my only huge complaint). The room itself was spacious for our family of four and very clean. The cleaning staff made a special effort to leave towel sculptures for our 5 & 2 year olds.
The food at Olive Oil, Boston Bar and the Pool Bar was excellent - a mixture of western and middle eastern food was provided. As mentioned we were on the all-inclusive package which included breakfast and dinner in Olive Oil and lunch from a limited menu at the pool or in Boston Bar. The food was just excellent! Breakfast tended to be a bit manic if you waited too long to go down, however, if you are an early riser, there is plenty of options and tables to choose from. The staff do their best to accommodate all guests, especially by taking orders for freshly made egg dishes when there just isn't enough staff to really provide that service. What we witnessed was very bad behaviour and rudeness from other guests during busy times. We ate our lunch mostly in the Boston Bar and it was excellent. They have the best burger. Maya who was our server most days, was extremely welcoming and pleasant, especially with our children. Each night in Olive Oil there is food from different countries. The Asian night and Indian night were especially good but honestly the food each night along with the selections of desserts were excellent. The drinks on offer for all inclusive were pretty standard - beer, house wine, and a selection of spirits which were a caliber higher than most all-inclusives. You can only drink by the pool or in the bar or restaurant, you can't take drinks to the room, so it would have been nice if the mini bar had been stocked with a selection for people who do use the all-inclusive option.
The pool area had plenty of beds and towels from the spa were provided upon request. There is also a small paddling pool that is shaded and my little ones spent most of their time in this.
The hotel is located in Bur Dubai and despite not being extremely central, the hotel provides a shuttle service to the metro, La Mer beach area and Dubai mall. Otherwise taxis are inexpensive and the transit system is very good.
We had an excellent stay and we would definitely consider staying here in the future.

From the name you think its in JBR..but its located in some residential area and a Market..good location and near to the downtown but not suitable for our trip at all..the room was not arranged very well..you can see some dirt in the cupboards..there were some visitors in the bathroom „insects“.. they put one bathrobe and one set of sleepers and some other stuff..the bed its self was harsh and not comfortable..
For the breakfast..the service was very poor..sometime if you want anything from the buffet it was empty..it takes alot of time till they refill the buffet..the second day it was full and we found a table after 15 minutes waiting..after sitting we went to take food..when we were back we saw someone has put his phone on the table and i asked the waiter to take the phone,the owner came and made a scene in front if everyone that we took his table,although i tried to explain to him that we were here before, it made everyone look at us as we stole his place, and no one from the hotel told him that..i hope they improve..

We asked the concierge to organise a taxi to take me to a hospital in Al Ain for an interview. He told me to take a street taxi, who took us to Abu Dhabi 140Km then Al Ain 100km. We were late for appointment and he charged us 520 DH, when the concierge had said he could arrange it for 450DH but refused to arrange it saying the street taxi is cheaper

Nice and pleasant stay before joining a cruise. The room view was a little obstructed . Nice and spacious with adequate facsilities. Staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The bar area could do with some refurbishment but was well staffed.

Jumeira Rotana is my home in Dubai; conveniently located at 10 minutes by taxi from the trade center and 15 from Dubai Mall and Burj Khalid’s, offers spacious rooms, a roof polo, gym and health club. A 4 stars with a service of 5, very clean and with kind and professional personnel. Always very much appreciated the Boston bar, the ideal place to relax, have good fun and fun.
