The place is decent and nice. The price is good and the sushi is pretty nice. No matter what you order, they bring some snack and soup at the beginning and then the main food.
The sushi was good. We were a group of 12 people and we tried almost everything.
They also have a fixed percentage of tip included in the check, which I liked.

Greasy food. Far from authentic. It may look like a Japanese restaurant, but the taste is off. Avoid it if you could.

I am a frequent visitor to this restaurant.Had a family dinner there as all of my family
members decided to go to Totoro. As usual, food was par excellence & service too was
good.
Prices are moderate.Only drawback is its seating area which is too small considering
the crowd it attracts .Bento is a good choice to order as you not only get a variety of
dishes but plenty to eat.Sushi also is fresh & enjoyable.

Totoro is a class act from the prompt greeting on arrival to the fond farewell on departure. 1 Inari, 1 Avo/Cuc roll, 1 Veggie roll, 1 Veg Bento = delight! Tea, soup and salad are also top notch. Service is friendly and the price is right. Enough to serve 2 for $30. Go, and have fun. Whether it's a quick bite before the movies, or a relaxing dinner, you have a great location, and casual atmosphere, but strict attention to cuisine. Excellent evening.

well first of all the restaurant was warm because it got cold in Ann Arbor. But now to the service. They took my order pretty quickly and i got my food in a few minutes. Before the sushi came i got a free miso soup and salad so that was a bonus but if you don't want free soup and/or salad you can tell them that. The price is right for a mere $7 at max but the food is delicious but there's not much to tell you other then a must try if you're in town
