Really impressed by this place. Service was great. Interesting dishes, well presented and so tasty. Nice atmosphere. For a fancy romantic dinner I totally recommend.

Located at Belmond's La Residence d'Angkor this restaurant is a gem in Siem Reap. Since I was staying at this hotel, I had the opportunity to experience both breakfast and dinner here.

The breakfast selections are plenty and the buffet is fabulous. Charcutterie, cheeses, parfaits, fresh fruits and delicious bakeries complement the a-la-carte menu along with fresh squeezed juices and yummy jasmine tea served with a smile.

For dinner, the restaurant takes on a whole new meaning as chefs give Khmer cuisine a contemporary twist that make the dishes a must have. I was there on a Thursday when they have Khmer dance performers that delight the audience with great music, silk and gold headdresses.

A great wine list is available along with a Khmer-licious menu.
Buen Provecho!

We were expecting far more from this place.
The menu was extremely limited in term of choice.
The quality of the food was ok but once again you expect more for an hotel who was once under the Pansea chain and is now under new management.
To conclude this review i would not recommend this restaurant there are many better options in town if you want good choices or fine dining.
Excellent service.

This restaurant is right inside the Belmond Hotel "Residence d'Angkor" and this is convenient for lodgers... but really, Circle is not the tastiest option in Siem Reap. The indoor seating is quiet but the outdoor tables do have road noise. The food is pricey and somewhat dull for what you get -- although the bread was fresh-baked and hot, my dinner was served cold, and we were not asked after it was served. Ironically the manager of the hotel was (loudly) visiting with other tables at the restaurant, but completely ignored us although he walked past. One gets the impression that certain people matter more than others. It is clear there are better food options in town than here.

I wanted to see some Apsara dancing and since the Apsara Theatre and the Smile of Angkor had very poor reviews I thought this might suit me best. I was wrong. The food tried to be gourmet but didn't quite reach the level. The restaurant was outside full with mosquitos. The prices were outrageous in Cambodian standard and the quality and service really didn't justify the pricing. I.e. a small bottle of water costs almost 7 USD. The show itself was a dissapointment too, I am sorry to say. I was not resident of the hotel so I was seated in the very back of the dining area even though the restaurant wasn't full.

I recommend to skip this one and go to the Phare Cambodian Circus instead.
