Angkor Wat is a definitely a must-see and worthwhile visit. Take a trip to the ancient temple site in Siem Reap and immerse in the enchanting experience. Visitors are encouraged to arrive by dawn to witness the sunrise which ascends on the background of the famous temple.

When we got to the tuktuk drop off after getting our tickets, my girlfriend was told her skirt was too short, although it reached her knees, she was told to buy a sari, which cost $33. We had no alternative but to pay up.
When we left, the woman and the sari seller had gone and we realised it must have been a scam.
Beware, only take notice of officials, it's a nice sari though, but we could have bought one inside for $5.

Angkor day tours arrived on time at 8am our guide and driver were excellent.. our family of 4 arrived in the angkor complex at 830am and went straight to angkor wat, our guide advised that it was less crowded in the morning with many tour groups going in the afternoon..we were taken to the back entrance of angkor wat which was less crowded and took excellent photos..you have to queue to climb to the top so make sure you do this first thing as it gets really hot and waiting times are less. Fantastic views however you need to be able to climb steep steps..after leaving angkor wat we went to angkor thom which is also fantastic, not as many steps...lunch was at an excellent resturant, food was delicious, (ladies take tissues if you need to use the toilet)..after lunch we went to the tomb raider temple, fantastic...we are glad we did all this in the morning and early afternoon as thunder storms arrived about 15 minutes after we had finished.1pm...late june weather is very humid abt 90% and temp around 33...lots of water was provided..
I would definately reccommend Angkor Day Tours...

It is such a pleasure to see the country's most revered national icon in person. Despite the heat and crowds, the place just has a very special allure to visitors. I have to say that the management is trying to do their best to preserve the heritage of the place despite the heavy tourist traffic.

Do not fret when you enter the place thinking that the place would be so crowded with tourists and will ruin your experience, the grounds are just humongous with many options for you to walk through the various trails through the park and ruins. This place is a testament to what the ancient civilisations are capable of.
