The trees overgrowing the structures is an amazing site. A must when visiting Siem Reap, part of the package cost of the Angkor Wat temple.

“As Seen in Tomb Raider”

Very cool site that brought flashes of the movie. Loved the trees growing out of the ruins and the 'just discovered' feeling of the site.

“Breathtaking but crowded”
Reviewed 17 March 2012

Ta Phrom was beautiful but like Angkor Wat very crowded (our guide told is it is now unofficially just called the "tomb raider temple"). If you have to chose I would go to Preah Khan instead, it is just as beautiful, maybe more, it's larger and has way fewer people.

“Our favourite”

All the roots coming out of the stonework. Get there early, which applies to most sites, like by 8 a.m.
