Had a great time hopping from one temple to the other. One of the most popular and beautiful temples are the ones here. The massive stone faces are indeed cultural gems!

The temple with so many Buddha statues! Many of the statues were torn down due to past conflicts with conflicting belief systems but nonetheless it’s a fun temple to climb up and around on and go nose to nose with Buddha!

Visiting this site felt much more packed with tourists and much of it was well weathered, there were many tight spaces and trying to climb around could be difficult for some. I did a guided tour to learn as much history as possible

Visiting the temples around Angkor Wat is a spectacular and very moving experience. The Bayon Temple may be my favorite. It was amazing to see how the trees had grown up in, around and through the temple stones to become integral parts of this highly spiritual and unique spot.
