Great location easy to find and good price room that was big and modern and clean. So all of that is good. What was not so good was the breakfast. Infact it was awful. Only stayed here 1 night, I thought the front desk staff were amateur to be honest.

Staying here proved to me that it is easy to notice the difference between 4 star and 5 star hotels in China. This place just lacked the little bit of quality needed. For a couple of hundred RMB more a night in Wuhan you should opt for the 5 star. I will next time.

They claim the hotel non-smoking but the rooms and hallway reek of smoke. They also have ash tray trash cans laid out every few rooms all over the hotel which is encouraging people to continue smoking. Rooms are dated. Seem decent at first glance but really old and dirty if you look closer. The room is also extremely hot with no heater turned out. I had to run the AC on high during the winter to make the room bearable. I can’t imagine how it would feel in the summer.

If you care about location, this is a great location.

If you want a decent place and sleep without smoke. This is definitely not the place. Any foreigners used to non smoking will find this hotel unbearable.

Our check-in was delayed by 45 minutes, because the room wasn’t ready. Instead of apologising, the receptionist just coldly blamed the housekeeping department. Our room smelt of cigarette smoke most of the time. There was a window separating the bedroom/bathroom, which could only be concealed by a mildew-covered blind. The wardrobe was dusty and its doors were sticky. The night before check-out, we wanted to book a taxi to Hankou Railway Station, but the receptionist refused to help us because “their taxis only went to the airport.” I have stayed in many hotels in China, and this one is without a doubt, the worst.

You get what you pay for but dial down your expectations and then some for the non-Chinese breakfast items. Even their 1,000 layer pancakes seemed to have sat there for as many years.

Staff are non-offensive. I just wish the head chef (male) spent more time trying to keep the food hot or at the very least fresh rather than watching TV in the dining area.

At least you can't screw up eggs, but even on that front Rotten Ron's down the road may be a better bet.

Also, they entered my colleagues room despite a do not disturb sign hung on door handle. Only changed the sheets, but still irksome.
